LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's tennis team placed seven student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Tuesday. It's the third straight year the program has posted as many honorees.
Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their league champion is crowned. Bucknell as a whole recorded a league-high 517 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2022-23, including 341 during the winter-spring season.
The women's tennis program achieved a 3.51 GPA during the spring semester, and six members of the roster qualified for Dean's List status with a 3.5 or higher. Additionally, half of the roster posted perfect GPAs of 4.0: Kate Novak, Caroline Marcus, Anna Lajos and Whitney King. The Bison made up nearly one-third of the 13 Patriot League women's tennis student-athletes that achieved a 4.0.
