Coach Donner Announces Latest Recruiting Class
6/20/2023 12:17:00 PM | Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field
LEWISBURG, Pa.-Â Bucknell track & field and cross country head coach Kevin Donner announced the addition of 43 student-athletes to the 2023-24 rosters. The Bison are bringing in 23 new members for the men's team and 20 for the women's squad.
The men's team finished fifth at the indoor and outdoor Patriot League championships in 2023. They added 11 new additions to the top ten lists, including five athletes in the top five. Four athletes notched All-East honors at the IC4A Outdoor Championships.
"I am very pleased with our incoming class for both genders," said Donner. "Our coaching staff put in a lot of work and time on this class, and we got some high-level difference makers who should help us immediately at the Patriot League level and the IC4A-ECAC- NCAA level. We also brought in some much-needed depth that has great potential to develop over time once they experience collegiate Track and Field/Cross Country. It is a very balanced class representing all the event areas. We have four women and three men with the best marks in their primary events that are better than anyone we have brought in over the past 22 years. We cannot wait for this class to arrive on campus this August and get to work."
