Boati Motau Picked for South Africa Women's Water Polo World Cup Squad

LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell Bison women's water polo player Boati Motau received exciting news this week that she has been selected for the South Africa Women's Water Polo World Cup squad.Â
The sophomore attacker was one of 13 players named to the team. The squad will compete at the World Aquatic Senior Women's Water Polo World Cup Qualifier held on May 2-4, 2023 in Berlin, Germany.Â
This is not the first national honor for Motau. She participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as a member of the South African team and has been a member of the national team since 2018.Â
Motau and the Bison compete this weekend at the CWPA Championships.Â
