Multiple Top-10 Finishes for Men's Track & Field at the IC4A Championships

BOSTON, Mass- The Bucknell men's track & field team finished the IC4A Championships by obtaining multiple top-10 placements to earn All-East honors.Â
"Solid meet for the guys," said head coach Kevin Donner. "We had a large number of personal records and season-best marks. Great to see Franco Perinotti and Zachary Jelinek earn All-East in the pole vault and 800 Meter Run respectively. Our Distance Medley Relay team ran great to win a fourth-place finish and All-East.Â
The Distance Medley Relay quartet of Christian Cadmus, Rayven Sample, Alex Simpson, and Samuel Whittaker finished fourth with a time of 9:53.21. The mark is now the third-best in Bucknell history. Whittaker anchored the finish with a sparkling time of 4:04.8.
Franco Perinotti represented in the Pole Vault with his clearance of 15-01.00 to grab a seventh-place finish. He earned 1.5 points for the Bison cause.Â
Zachary Jelinek earned a point for Bucknell by placing eighth in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 1:53.75.Â
Wade Shomper placed 10th in the Shot Put on his toss of 50-09.25.Â
