Patriot League Championship Major Awards
All-Patriot League status will be determined by the event finishes at the 2023 Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, with first-place winners earning first-team All-League honors. The runner-up in each event will earn second-team honors.
Â
Following the conclusion of the meet, the League head coaches will vote on several individual major awards. A men's and women's track athlete, field athlete, and rookie of the meet will be selected. Men's and women's coach of the year awards will also be selected. The Patriot League will also present awards to the men's and women's highest scorers of the meet.
"This might be the most competitive I have seen the Patriot League in the past 21 years, and both teams are very excited to compete," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Both the men's and women's meets look fairly identical on paper, with Navy being a heavy favorite on both sides. Army and Boston have very good men's and women's programs and appear to be the dark horses. Lehigh looks solid. Our athletes are very excited and hope to mix it up with these programs. The meet is a war of attrition as certain athletes are going to the well and doing multiple events."

Last Year's Championship Tidbits
- Meghan Quinn won the gold in the 60m dash. Quinn carried on Bucknell's winning tradition in the 60, as school record holder Kaitlin Salisbury won the event in the 2018 and 2019 indoor championships. Quinn ran 7.64 in the finals after racing to the second-fastest time in school history (7.63) in the prelims on Saturday.
- Quinn wasn't finished, however, as she earned Bucknell more points in the 200 and the 4x400 later in the day. Quinn's personal-best 25.20 in the 200 earned her a fifth-place finish and ranks seventh on Bucknell's top 10 list. She also ran the third leg of the 4x400 relay team (Jessie Castellano, Mikayla Horvath, Quinn, Bridget Lalonde) that scored six points in a third-place finish. It was a tight final race, as the Bison were just 1.1 seconds behind the second-place Navy.
- Karen Hull was Bucknell's other top three finishers, earning third in the 60m hurdles with an 8.74. She beat her best time by .01 and sits second on Bucknell's top 10 list. Along with her efforts in the 4x400, Jessie Castellano grabbed four points for Bucknell in the 400, running a 57.44 to finish one-tenth of a second behind Army's Emma Taylor.
- Another Bison moving up on the school's top 10 list on Sunday was Siobhan O'Sullivan, who capped a strong indoor season with a fifth-place finish in the shot put. The sophomore's 46-10.75 ranks fifth all-time, and she threw nearly a foot better than her previous best of 45-11.25.
- Anna Posh had a banner night running the 500 Meter Run. Her time of 1:15.90 earned ECAC qualification and narrowly missed ranking in Bucknell's all-time top-ten list.Â
- Noel Fullman did not win gold in the 60 Meter Hurdles; however, her third-place time of 9.04 slots her at ninth all-time in the Bucknell record book.Â
- Bucknell had numerous other first-place finishers. Lila Gaughan grabbed gold in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.95. Colleen Linko earned top honors in two events: the 400 Meter Run with a time of 59.51 and as part of the Bucknell "A" Team for the 4x400 Meter Relay with Maddy Hippensteal, Eva Lindner, Sarah Durkan. The quartet's time of 4:09.13 outpaced all other contestants. Sarah Policano led the pack in the Mile Run with her time of 5:16.49.Â
- Christine Ajao earned two impressive placements. She earned silver in the Shot Put with a heave of 40-09.75 and third in the Weight Throw on a toss of 49-03.00. She won the Patriot League Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award for her performances.Â
Qualifying participants will participate in the ECAC Championships.Â
