Track & Field Collects Individual Honors at the Nittany Lion Challenge
1/14/2023 10:46:00 PM | Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field
State College, Pa.- The Bucknell track & field teams participated in the Nittany Lion Challenge on Saturday. It was a non-scoring meet; thus, it served as a chance for the teams to work out some kinks and prepare for the upcoming indoor schedule.Â
"I thought it was a very good opener for both genders," said head coach Kevin Donner. "We are at a much higher level than we were one year ago today when we attended the same meet. All of our event groups were very solid and handled the tough competition well. We do have a couple of areas that we need to clean up, and we need to get a few injured athletes back, and I am confident in a few weeks that we will be at full strength and ready to compete well at our league championship.
