Women's Lax Places 27 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell women's lacrosse squad backed up a much-improved season on the field with a terrific performance in the classroom. The Bison combined for a stellar 3.52 grade-point average in the 2022 spring semester, and 27 student-athletes earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

To be named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth consecutive academic year the League has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a League-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.

All 27 Bison women's lacrosse student-athletes who qualified for the Honor Roll also made the Bucknell Dean's List with a GPA of 3.50 or better. That includes six who earned perfect 4.00 GPAs: Emma Cashwell, Ella Payer, Lauren Rader, Amy Roche, Macie Ruda, and Katie Wendell. Payer also represented the Bison on the Academic All-Patriot League Team in the spring.
