Men's Basketball Places Six on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell men's basketball team had a strong spring semester in the classroom, with more than half of the 11-man squad making the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Six Bison earned spots on the Honor Roll, including 2022 Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year Andrew Funk.
To be named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth consecutive academic year the League has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a League-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.
The men's basketball team compiled 3.21 team GPA in the spring, and Ian Motta and Jake van der Heijden both made the Bucknell Dean's List with GPAs north of 3.50.Â
