SCHEDULE AND LIVE RESULTS

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell rowing team is set for two days of action against top competition at the Lake Wheeler Invitational, co-hosted by North Carolina and Duke. There will be three rounds of racing on Friday and Saturday on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.

The Bison will have their top three Eights and their Varsity Four in action. Bucknell will compete against the likes of Miami, North Carolina, Central Florida, Boston College, Penn, Clemson, Syracuse, and Oklahoma. The Bison will also see Patriot League rivals Navy and Georgetown. Penn (9) and Syracuse (15) are both nationally ranked in the CRCA/USRowing Pocock Division I Coaches Poll, while Navy, Clemson, and UCF are receiving votes.

Spectators will be permitted access to the event for an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle. The winner of the regatta is awarded the Pocock Cup. Duke was the 2019 and 2021 winner (the 2020 event was canceled due to COVID-19).

This will be Bucknell's fifth competition of the spring. The Bison have one more home event on Apr. 30 against Lehigh, Delaware, and Duquesne, with the Patriot League Championships to follow on May 13 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
