
Men's Track & Field's Brewer Opens IC4A Championships with Day One of Heptathlon

BOSTON, Mass. – The 2022 IC4A Indoor Championships began Friday for the Bucknell men's track & field team, and senior Aiden Brewer was first out of the blocks for the Bison as he completed the first four events of the heptathlon. Brewer pulled in 2097 points on his first day of competition.
Brewer ran a 7.64 in the 60m dash, cleared 18-00.5 in the long jump, and threw 29-4 in the shot put. He also cleared a career-best 5-6 in high jump on day one. Remaining for the senior on Saturday are the 60m hurdles, the pole vault and the 1000. Brewer is currently sitting 10th at the meet.
Bucknell also has a host of other athletes beginning competition on day two of the IC4A Indoor Championships, beginning with the men's 60m hurdles at 10:45 a.m.
