Mia Bellucci Named to Patriot League Academic All-League Team

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Mia Bellucci of the Bucknell women's cross country team was recognized as a Patriot League Academic All-League selection, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
Bellucci, a senior from Scranton, Pa., enjoyed a memorable performance at the Patriot League Championships on her home course, earning All-League honors in placing 13th overall. The All-League honor was the first for Bellucci, crossing the line just behind teammate Keeley Misutka in helping Bucknell earn multiple All-League picks for the seventh time in eight seasons. Bellucci improved tremendously from her 2021 showing where she placed 61st, and her 13th-place finish bests her previous best placing of 47th at the 2021 Spring Championships by 34 spots.
In the classroom, Bellucci has proven to be just as prolific, boasting a 4.0 cumulative GPA while double-majoring in political science and economics.
Bellucci and the rest of the Bucknell women will compete at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships at Penn State on Friday, November 11.
