What's New?
- Bucknell heads to Daytona Beach with a 2-2 record after falling 65-61 in a Sunshine Slam campus-site game at Georgia on Friday night. The Bison never trailed until the early moments of the second half, but then Georgia used a 17-2 run to grab a 55-41 lead with 8:12 to go. Bucknell fought back, closing within two on an Andre Screen alley-oop finish with eight seconds to go. Justin Hill's free throws with 5.9 seconds left clinched the win for Georgia. Â Â Â Â
- Xander Rice scored a team-high 19 points for the second straight game, and he leads the team in scoring at 16.5 ppg. Rice is now shooting 50.0% from the field and 42.3% from 3-point distance on the season.Â
- Andre Screen (13.8), Elvin Edmonds IV (10.8), and Alex Timmerman (10.3) are also scoring in double figures.
- Bucknell came into the Georgia game ranked third nationally in team 3-point percentage at an even 50.0%. The Bison were held to 25.0% (5-20) at Georgia, however, and now rank 13th nationally at 44.3%. Bucknell also dropped from fifth to ninth in the nation in effective field-goal percentage, dropping from .655 to .615.Â
- Bucknell shot 44.4% from the field against Georgia, marking the first time this season under 50%.
- The Bison limited the Bulldogs to 33.3% shooting from the field, and in four games this season opponents are shooting only 38.2%. That is the best mark in the Patriot League.Â
- Bucknell also leads the Patriot League in scoring defense (62.2), scoring margin (+16.0), and fewest turnovers per game (11.8).
- Individually, Screen now leads the Patriot League in field-goal percentage (.649), and Timmerman ranks No. 1 in free-throw percentage (.875). Rice is fourth in the league in scoring at 16.5 ppg.

Darryl Shazier had 16 points and five assists to lead the Bison, who would go on to win the Patriot League championship that season.
- Following the Sunshine Slam, the Bison will play their next two at home, starting with Marist on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The Bison and Red Foxes will be meeting for the first time since 2014.
