Men's Track and Field Set to Compete at IC4A Championships This Weekend

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell University men's track and field team will compete at the IC4A Championships beginning on Friday at American International College in Springfield, Mass.

About the Bison

The Bison currently have 17 individuals scheduled to take part in the meet along with the 4x100, the 4x400, and the 4x800 relays.
Qualifying individuals will next take part in the NCAA East Preliminary meet held at the University of North Florida beginning on Wednesday, May 26.
Senior Connor McMenamin leads the way for the Bison after earning his first Patriot League Championship as well as garnering his second Academic All-League nod earlier this week. McMenamin is seeded first in the 3000m steeplechase (8:55.40), and will compete again against Patriot League runner-up Julian Perez, who is seeded second (8:57.00).
Noah Martin (9:20.64) will also take part in the steeplechase, and is seeded 18^th.
Nicholas Marino also earned a high seed for the event (7^th, 16-0.75), and will look to improve upon a fourth-place showing at the 2019 IC4A Outdoor Championships in which he cleared 16-7.25, his personal best outdoors.
Both Jordan Montero (10^th) and James Kelly (13^th) will compete in the javelin. Montero came close to earning All-East honors in 2019 in finishing ninth (189-11), while Kelly will compete at the IC4A meet for the first time after having thrown a personal best in finishing 10^th at the Patriot League Championships (188-5).
In the 400, both Rayven Sample and Ethan Wolford-Tuffy will compete, as the two first years are seeded 25^th and 26^th, respectively.
Brendan O'Toole (3:53.50) will compete in the 1500-meter run, and is seeded 28^th in the event. Joining O'Toole in the 1500 will be junior Owen Chase, who is seeded 34^th (3:55.53).
Evan Minor, who ran a personal-best in the 5k at the Patriot League Championships, will compete in his first IC4A Championships over the weekend, where he is seeded ninth in the 10k (30:06.77). Domenic Campagna is also scheduled to compete in the event, where he is seeded 39^th.
In the 110-meter hurdles, first year Kameron Schreffler will compete, and is seeded 14^th overall (15.52). Brian Kennedy (55.95) will take part in the 400-meter hurdles, and is seeded 21^st.
Jaxon White is scheduled to compete in the discus, and is seeded 26^th entering the meet. In the hammer, Robert Feeney (18^th) and John Calisi (23^rd) will both compete.
Anthony Zamarra is seeded eighth in the in shot put (52-10.25), while Aiden Brewer rounds out Bucknell's individual competitors in the decathlon, where he is seeded fifth. Brewer earned All-East honors last season at the Indoor Championships in the heptathlon, where he finished eighth (4065).
