Bucknell Volleyball Introduces Four Incoming Rookies

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell volleyball head coach Tyler Hagstrom announced on Thursday the addition of four incoming rookies that will join the team in the fall. The four newcomers represent three states, with two hailing from Florida, one from Ohio and one from Iowa. The class consists of one middle blocker, one outside hitter and a pair of liberos.
Hagstrom got his first look at his team this spring as the Bison played four matches and earned a big win over American before the season was cut short. Bucknell will lose two seniors to graduation this spring, and the four newcomers will bring next year's roster total to 20 players.

JEN SIVAK
Concord, Ohio | Riverside High School | 6'0" | Middle Blocker
Lettered all four years and was a two-time co-captain under coach Ali Vires … four-time All-Conference selection and two-time First Team All-District selection … three-time News-Herald All-Star … Conference Player of the Year as a senior and Rookie of the Year as a freshman … two-time team MVP and two-time team Offensive Player … AVCA All-Region and UA All-American Watch List … led team to four conference championships and four district championships … 930 career kills … also played for Academy Volleyball Cleveland.
Personal: Born on July 12, 2003 … daughter of Christine and Jim Sivak … has one older brother, Nathan … father, Jim, played basketball at Gannon University.
Tyler Hagstrom on Jen Sivak: "Jen has played at the highest level throughout her club career. She's an elite blocker and a very versatile attacker who will bring in with her a wealth of experience."
AMANDA TESSEROT
Miami, Fla. | Westminster Christian School | 5'8" | Libero
Four-time letterwinner and three-time team captain under coach Julie Doan … 2019 All-Dade County Second Team and 2018 All-Dade County Honorable Mention … led team to four district titles, two regional championships, and two state title appearances … also played for Tribe Volleyball and Miami Elite Volleyball.
Personal: Born on March 12, 2003 … daughter of Lori and Armand Tesserot … has one younger brother, Miles, and one older sister, Alexa ... also goes by "Tess."
Tyler Hagstrom on Amanda Tesserot: "Tess is an exciting player who competes with a lot of fire and grit. She can make momentum-shifting digs on defense while also being a steady presence in serve receive."
