Women's Track and Field Set to Travel to Lehigh on Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University women's track and field team will participate in the Happy Easter Races on Saturday at Lehigh.
The meet will be the third for the Bison this season, and the first of two scheduled meets that the Bison will take part in in Bethlehem this season.

- Bucknell took a win in its first home meet (174) since 2019 in edging out Saint Francis (Pa.) and UMBC (61).
- The Bison posted a solid meet for the second consecutive week in recording several top ten marks.
- Maura Fiamoncini earned an impressive victory in the javelin (174-0) in garnering Patriot League Field Athlete of the Week honors. The mark for Fiamoncini ranks eighth in the country, and was her second-best throw in her last 13 competitions for the Bison.
- Karen Hull also impressed for the Bison in winning the 100m hurdles on Sunday (14.68). Hull ranks tenth on Bucknell's all-time list, while Abby Eisold (15.46) finished in second. Hull has proven her versatility so far for the Bison, as she also placed in the high jump (5-3) and ran the anchor leg on Bucknell's 4x100 team.
- Fellow first year Madison McGloin took a win in the hammer throw (169-08), which ranks eighth on Bucknell's all-time list.
- Alex Butz and Ashley Blair each posted wins in the 1500 and the pole vault, respectively, with the latter also finishing second in the high jump. Michaela Bracken also added a win in the 400 hurdles (1:03.12).
- Bucknell will take part in two meets on Saturday April 10, and Sunday, April 11. The Bison will travel to the Bloomsburg Distance Classic, before hosting Army and Lehigh on Sunday in Lewisburg.
