Bucknell's Emily Baird Named PL Rookie of Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bucknell's Emily Baird was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Baird, a first year midfielder who also plays defense, filled the stat sheet against No. 12/13 Loyola with an assist, two ground balls, two caused turnovers and two draw controls.
Baird is the second-straight Bison to be tabbed as the Patriot League's Rookie of the Week. Attacker Ellie Mayer was recognized on March 15 after notching the first three goals of her collegiate career in Bucknell's 15-7 victory over Lafayette.
Baird and the Bison return to action on Saturday, March 27 at 12 p.m. by traveling to Lehigh.
