Women's Lacrosse's Bradbury Named Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell women's lacrosse midfielder Julia Bradbury was selected as the Bison Athlete of the Week, which is presented by Mid-Penn Energy and Mid-Penn Engineering.

Bradbury, a senior, earned her first career Bison Athlete of the Week nod by netting a career-high five goals in Bucknell's 15-7 victory over Lafayette. She also logged two caused turnovers and one ground ball.

Entering the game, Bradbury's career high in both goals and points was three, set with 2019 hat tricks at Holy Cross and against Lehigh.

Bradbury is the first women's lacrosse player to be named the Bison Athlete of the Week in 2020-21. Last school year, defender Abby Neff earned this award for posting seven ground balls, one shy of Bucknell's school record, and five caused turnovers, a figure tied for fourth in school history, in Bucknell's season-opening victory over Sacred Heart.

Bradbury and the Bison return to action on Saturday, March 20 at 1 p.m. by hosting Loyola (Md.).
