BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – Andu Vlasceanu and Hasan Mogultay each earned individual honors from the MAWPC, the organization announced. Vlasceanu was named to the MAWPC First Team, while Mogultay earned All-MAWPC Second Team honors.
The all-conference selection for Vlasceanu was the third of his career after the Bucharest, Romania native was named the Rookie of the Year as a freshman, and a First Team selection in the winter of 2021.
Vlasceanu ended his junior season with 31 goals, and has proven to be one of Bucknell's key players over the past three seasons. The junior has played an instrumental role in Bucknell's two MAWPC Championship season, and has also contributed as a playmaker as well, leading the team in assists this season. Vlasceanu was also third on the team in goals this year, and surpassed 100 career goals earlier this year. In total, Vlasceanu's 155 points are the most in a career by an active Bison, and he started every game for the Orange and Blue this season.
Mogultay posted an impressive rookie season for the Bison, finishing second on the team in goals with 34. The native of Istanbul, Turkey managed a season-best four goals in the first round of the MAWPC Tournament to Wagner, and also assisted Jack Lewis' game-winning goal against Saint Francis Brooklyn at the buzzer earlier this season. Mogultay has started every game for the Bison this season as a rookie.
