Bucknell Softball Signs Four to National Letters of Intent

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Head coach Sarah Caffrey and the Bucknell softball team have announced that Mea Consentino, Nicole Lioumis, Marissa Rapino and Angelina Seropian have each signed National Letters of Intent during the NCAA's early signing period and will be joining the Bison next fall as members of the class of 2026. The class includes a pitcher, an outfielder, and infielder and one catcher. Three members of the signing class are Pennsylvania natives, and one hails from Chicago, Ill.
"I'm very excited to welcome Nicole, Mea, Angelina and Marissa to our Bucknell family. They are an extremely talented group of players who are both hard working and competitive. I feel that they will elevate us in multiple areas, and I look forward to their arrival on campus next fall," said Caffrey.
MEA CONSENTINO
Pitcher | Berwick, Pa. | Central Columbia High School | 5'2"
Born Sept. 10, 2003 … daughter of Pam and Mark … has one brother, Nicholas … lettered in both softball and field hockey, serving as team captain for both sports … 3A First Team All-State pitcher … led team to 20-5 overall record last season and earned MVP honors … led team to two league titles … broke the school career strikeouts record with 529 by her junior season … posted 296 strikeouts with 13 walks as a junior … also plays for Stripes and Strikes 18U team, winning a State Championship.

NICOLE LIOUMIS
Catcher/Infield | Downingtown, Pa. | Downingtown West High School | 5'5"
Born Jan. 12, 2004 … daughter of Rebecca and Ted … has two siblings, Brooklynn and Jack … lettered all four years in softball … First Team All-Chest-Mont and Second Team All-Area selection in 2021 … USSA All-American … league home runs leader in 2021 … guided team to 6A District Championship and Chest-Mont Championships in 2019 and 2021 … also plays for PA Chaos club team … dad played soccer at Penn State.

MARISSA RAPINO
Outfield | Horsham, Pa. | Hatboro Horsham High School | 5'7"
Born November 24, 2003 … daughter of Kathy and Ralph … has one sibling, Dominic … lettered in both softball and soccer … named team captain as a senior … two-time All-League selection … led team to two league titles, as well as an undefeated season as a junior … posted .407 batting average and a .560 on-base percentage during junior season … also plays for PA Strikers 18U National Team … dad played football at Kutztown.

ANGELINA SEROPIAN

Born May 12, 2004 … daughter of Sabrina and Donald … has one brother, Christopher … lettered in both softball and volleyball, serving as team captain in both sports … two-time GCAC All-Conference selection in softball … All-Area Honorable Mention following junior season … ranked Top 25 Softball Athletes to Watch in Illinois … led team to two regional titles and a 2019 conference championship.
