Dear Bucknell Community,
We are writing to share an update from campus as well as offer our support as the global health community works to contain and combat COVID-19.
Most importantly, we hope that you, your family, and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
As you know, One Herd One Day, our 24-hour Athletics & Recreation Giving Challenge, is coinciding with this unprecedented and uncertain time in our community and the world.Â
With respect to that, we have decided to postpone One Herd One Day until further notice. We know that this challenge is a rallying point for Bucknellians and is a testament to our pride in Bucknell and our students. However, at this time it is paramount that our focus is directed towards what matters most — your loved ones and your safety.
While the date of this online event is changing, what has not changed is the need for us to join together as a community, one that is centered on perseverance and care. We hope we can count on your continued support when the new date is finalized.Â
Because it's your support that will help us prepare for the future when our students return to campus and competition.Â
For now, our hearts are with all our students as they navigate the adjustment of transitioning to remote learning, and for all those dealing with the disappointment of completing their senior year off campus.Â
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate an uncertain situation together. Please continue to take care of yourself and look out for one another.
Wishing you good health,
One Herd One Day Headquarters
