Baseball Places League-High 20 on Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa.—The Bucknell University baseball team tied for a league-high 20 spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the League office on Monday afternoon. To earn a spot on the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports. Three Bucknell student-athletes, including Scholar Athlete of the Year and First Team All-Patriot League selection Tyler Wincig, earned perfect 4.0 GPAs during the spring semester. Joining Wincig with a perfect GPA for the spring semester were CoSida Academic All-American Jeff Gottesman and senior Christian Tailor. Additionally, eight student-athletes were also named to the Dean's list for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester.
