Six Bison Recognized on IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Six members of the Bucknell women's lacrosse team were recognized on the IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced Wednesday afternoon.
In addition, the Bison were named an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad for posting a 3.0 or higher team grade point average for the 2018-19 academic year.
Headlining the Bucknell individual honorees were senior Callie DeWitt and junior Jessie Britton, who were previously voted to the 2019 Academic All-Patriot League Team. They were joined on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll by juniors Avani Chopra, Kate Fiore, Sophia Klaber and Morgan Steinhacker.
DeWitt, also a 2019 All-Patriot League Second Team selection, became a two-time member of the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. The Markets, Innovation & Design major posted the team's lone 4.0 GPA during the 2019 spring semester.
Juniors, seniors and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 were eligible to be honored on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. All six Bison previously made the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for their performance in the classroom during the spring semester.
