Stupak, McMenamin Earn Spots on All-Academic Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell University men's track and field team placed two members on the 2019 Patriot League Academic All-League squad as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Connor McMenamin and junior Jake Stupak each earned honors.
Sophomore McMenamin earns his first Patriot League All-Academic honor after a strong showing in the steeplechase at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships over the weekend. McMenamin placed second in the event for the second straight year (9:04.51), and improved by over seven seconds in the final two weeks of the season. He has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll once in his career, and carries a 3.83 GPA in International Relations.
Junior Jake Stupak enjoyed an excellent outdoor season after missing much of the indoor season. The Wexford, Pa. native carries a 3.83 GPA in economics, and helped anchor Bucknell's school-record breaking 4x800 relay that finished third at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships. Stupak also took third in the 1500 at the PL Championships, and owns the fifth-best mark in program history (3:45.80). He has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll four times.
