Women's Lacrosse Places 24 on PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Bucknell women's lacrosse team placed 24 student-athletes on the 2019 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Thursday.

This is the third-consecutive season the Bison boasted 24 honorees. Headlining this year's group was senior Callie DeWitt, a 2019 All-Patriot League Second Team and Academic Team selection who earned the team's lone 4.0 grade point average this spring.

Of Bucknell's 24 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members, 18 made the Dean's List for posting a GPA of at least 3.50 during the 2019 spring semester. Beyond DeWitt, three other Bison recorded a GPA of at least 3.85: junior Jessie Britton, a two-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree, senior Jamisen DeWitt, a 2018 All-Patriot League Second Team selection, and junior Morgan Steinhacker.

Bucknell finished second to Lafayette (35) in number of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members. American and Loyola tied for third with 23 honorees.

To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. The following are the Bucknell women's lacrosse team's 2019 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members:
