A. Furano, Hyham Named to All-CWPA Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The CWPA announced its all-conference teams on Thursday morning, with two Bucknell student-athletes earning honors.
Ally Furano was named to the CWPA first team, while Kali Hyham was named to the second team.
The Bison have earned 23 wins this season, the most since 2008, and have defeated three ranked foes this season while going 4-2 in CWPA play. The Bison also posted an eight-game winning streak at one point during the season. and earned their highest ranking at No. 18 earlier this month since 2005.
Furano was a large part of that success, exploding in an impressive sophomore year. Furano scored 111 goals and added 48 assists for a total of 159 points to date. She has easily surpassed the single-season goals total in Bucknell history, and owns the record for points in a season. Furano also ranks 11th in single-season assists, and has already moved into the 15th spot on Bucknell's all-time points list.
Hyham was solid as a utility this season, and was an important part of the team's success in and around the cage. Playing primarily closer to the cage, Hyham drew 62 ejections, good for the 14th most in a single season, while setting up many penalty shots. Hyham also added 59 goals this season, third on the team, with seven assists. Hyham's 59 goals are just one short of making it into the top 13 in a single season in Bucknell history.
Furano is Bucknell's first first-team selection since Hannah Sunday was named to the CWPA First Team in 2016.
The Bison will play George Washington to open the Eastern Championships at Brown on Friday at 2:30.
