Bell Named Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior outfielder JohnPaul Bell has been named the Bison Athlete of the Week after a strong three-game series in Bucknell's 3-0 weekend against Niagara.
Bell batted .545 and posted six hits throughout the weekend, including a double and a triple while plating seven RBI. The Downingtown, Pa. native also posted six runs scored and slugged .818.
Bell has now posted 13 RBI this season on 13 hits. He is hitting .419 overall this season in eight games and 31 at-bats. He has also
mustered a hit in six consecutive games, and has five multiple-hit games to date this season.
Bell and the rest of the Bison squad will travel to Kissimmee and Port Charlotte, Fla. for five games from March 9-12.
