Men's Tennis Opens Texas Trip with loss to Incarnate Word

SAN ANTONIO – The Bucknell men's tennis team opened its spring break trip to Texas with a 6-1 loss to The University of the Incarnate Word on Sunday at the Mabry Tennis Center.

Senior Andrei Vitiuc picked up the lone win for the Bison, defeating Caleb Dyer, 2-6, 6-1, 10-6 on court four.

Incarnate Word improved to 7-4 on the season, while Bucknell dropped to 4-8.

The Bison still have three matches in Texas. They will play Lamar on Monday, Prairie View A&M on Tuesday, and Nicholls State on Wednesday.
