Women's Tennis Announces Fan Appreciation Day at Central PA Tennis Center

The Venue was Previously Known as the West Branch Tennis Club
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Bucknell tennis has announced a partnership with the Central PA Tennis Center in Williamsport as its home indoor facility for both practices and competition. The venue, formerly called the West Branch Tennis Club, will serve as the backup site in case of inclement weather when the Bison women's team hosts the Patriot League Championships on April 25-28.
The Bucknell women's team is set to host three regular season matches at the Central PA Tennis Center, the first of which is scheduled for this Saturday when the Bison host Niagara at 2 p.m. That match will be Fan Appreciation Day with those in attendance receiving free pizza while supplies last and the chance to win prizes.
Saturday's matchup will feature players from Florida, New England, New York, Texas, Canada, Colombia and Romania. It is Bucknell's first home contest at the facility since 2014.
Other matches scheduled for the Central PA Tennis Center are with Saint Joseph's on Sunday and with Saint Francis University on Feb. 22.
The Bison women are off to a 2-0 start to the season with wins over St. Bonaventure and Siena.
