Track & Field Teams to Host Learn By Doing Clinic Feb. 27

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell track & field program will host a free "Learn By Doing" Clinic on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 4:30-6-30 p.m. at Gerhard Fieldhouse on the Bucknell campus.

The clinic is open to all high school athletes and coaches. Instruction will be given in sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long distance, high jump, triple jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put, discus and javelin.

Participants are asked to arrive no later than 4:20 p.m. with the completed and signed waiver. Vaulters should bring their own pole. Boys should bring their own plastic shot puts and rubber discus. All participants should dress to work out. Distance runners will run outdoors, all others indoors.

The clinic will be conducted by coaches and student-athletes from Bucknell's men's and women's track & field teams.
