About the Bison
• The Bison enter the week in seventh place in the Patriot League following a pair of losses to Loyola and Army last weekend. Bucknell's 3-2 loss to Loyola was the team's second five-setter of the season, while the 3-0 loss to American was its first time being swept.
• Bucknell returns to Davis Gym this weekend where it holds a 7-1 record this fall and is 19-11 dating back to 2017.
• Senior Mimi Richards is coming off a big weekend in which she tallied 19 kills and four total blocks. Richards' .313 hitting percentage is third in the Patriot League this season.
• Junior Anna Carroll also totaled 19 kills last weekend and posted eight total blocks. Carroll is third on the team in kills behind Sophie Bullard and Richards.
• Freshman Kelsey O'Loughlin was an honorable mention for Rookie of the Week after providing 70 assists in Bucknell's two matches over the weekend. O'Loughlin leads the Patriot League in that category and is third in service aces on the year.
• Libero Brooke Stark captured a new career-high with 37 digs in the match at Loyola. With 1,202 in her career, the senior is now nine digs away from moving into third on the team's all-time leaderboard.
• As a team, the Bison are second in the league in hitting percentage, third in kills per set, and second in service aces per set.
Scouting Army
• At 2-2 in the league and 11-6 overall, Army is fifth in the Patriot League standings. The Black Knights have not played a match on the road since Sept. 21. Last weekend, the team won 3-1 vs. Holy Cross before falling to Colgate by the same score.
• The Black Knights lead the Patriot League in both blocks and digs per set. The team has also held its opponents to a league-best .141 hitting percentage.
• Middle blocker Monica Eckford is the league-leader in blocks per set with 1.23. The junior has posted five or more total blocks six times this season, including seven against Holy Cross on Friday. Eckford provided 17 kills with five blocks last time she faced the Bison.
