Bison Rowers Compete at Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Bucknell rowing team had an entry in the Championship Eights event 2019 Head of the Charles regatta in Boston. Taking on some of the top competition in the country, the Bison placed 30th overall in a time of 17.02.122. The top two boats in the event came from the United States Training Center-Princeton, followed by Stanford, which took third overall and first among collegiate teams. Just ahead of the Bison were boats from Dartmouth, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Minnesota.
"The women performed well amongst a very competitive field," said head coach Stephen Kish. "We are excited to get a taste of the spring with the full team on Nov. 2."
Bucknell will compete at the 1969 Cup on Mercer Lake on Saturday, Nov. 10 starting at 10 a.m.
