Men's Swim & Dive Faces Lehigh on Senior Day

• Bucknell is currently 3-4 (3-3 Patriot League) after topping Loyola, 170-119, and falling to Army West Point, 203.5-91.5, on Jan. 11-12 at Kinney Natatorium.
• The Bison's dual meet at Columbia, which was scheduled for Jan. 20, was canceled due to the snowstorm that hit the Northeast. It would have been their first, and only, dual meet on the road this season. To date, Bucknell has already hosted seven dual meets at Kinney Natatorium.
• Against the Greyhounds on Jan. 11, the Bison used 11 first-place finishes to emerge victorious. Chadd Cummings (100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke), Matt McGoey (200 freestyle, 200 backstroke) and Garrett Sommer (1-meter dive, 3-meter dive) each took first in two events to lead the way.
• The following day against the Black Knights, Bucknell finished with 16 top-three finishes, including victories by McGoey (200 IM) and the 400 freestyle relay team of Nate Romanowski, Vince Filippini, Nico Pagni and Mitch Gavars.
• In 2017-18, the Bison went 2-7 (2-4 Patriot League). They placed third (411 points) at the 10-team Patriot League Championships and ninth (177 points) at the 21-team ECAC Championships, a one spot improvement at both events from the 2016-17 campaign.
• Chris Devlin (1st) and McGoey (2nd) were Bucknell's 2018 All-Patriot League honorees.
• The Bison returned two school record holders: Cummings (100 breaststroke, 54.65) and McGoey (200 IM, 1:47.84). In addition, returnees Cummings (200 medley, 400 medley), Charlie McFarland (200 medley, 400 medley, 400 freestyle) and Jacob Lubinski (400 medley) were members of school record setting relay teams.
• Bucknell lost Devlin, a four-time All-Patriot League First Team selection and two-time Swimmer of the Patriot League Championships, to graduation. Devlin left Lewisburg as the school record holder in three events and as the owner of six Patriot League individual titles.
• The program welcomed eight newcomers in 2018-19. They hail from eight different states: Colorado, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

• Lehigh finished sixth at the 2018 Patriot League Championships with 282.5 points. That season, the Mountain Hawks went 5-5 (3-2 Patriot League) in dual competition.
• Bucknell leads the all-time series with Lehigh, 37-19. The Mountain Hawks snapped a six-meet losing skid to the Bison with their 155-133 victory in Bethlehem, Pa. on Jan. 20, 2018.Â
• During last year's dual meet with Lehigh, Chris Devlin and Chadd Cummings combined for five of Bucknell's six wins. Devlin placed first in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 200 IM while Cummings touched the wall before the rest of the field in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke.
• The Bison and Mountain Hawks first squared off in 1960. Bucknell has only faced Lafayette (59) more times.Â
A Look Ahead
• The Bison next host the Bison Invite on Saturday, Feb. 2. It will be their final tune-up before the Patriot League Championships, set for Feb. 20-23 at Kinney Natatorium.

Bison Celebrate Seniors
• Before Saturday's meet against Lehigh, the Bison will celebrate their six-man senior class.
• Bucknell's 2018-19 seniors are Mitch Buccalo, Chadd Cummings, Vince Filippini, Tom Gannon, Charlie McFarland and Jack Rogers.
• The seniors have scored a combined 221 points at the Patriot League Championships. Together, they have posted a combined 11 program top-10 times in individual events, with Cummings owning the school record in the 100 breaststroke (54.65). Â
