About the Bison
• Bucknell is 12-18 overall and 4-2 in the Patriot League after sweeping a three-game Patriot League series with Holy Cross this past weekend. The Bison won the first game 6-1 and then finished off each of the next two in five innings, 8-0 and 14-2.
• Marisa Alemany was named the Patriot League Player of the Week after leading a great offensive weekend for the Bison. She went 4-8 with a triple, home run, and four RBIs.
• With a home run in the first game against Holy Cross, Meghan Kovac became the school's all-time leader with 21. She also set a Bucknell single-season record with nine home runs.
• The Bison hit five home runs in three games against the Crusaders, including one each by Anna Gimmestad, Taylor Wolfgang, and Ryanne Rokos.
• Raeanne Geffert recorded three wins in the circle for the Bison, allowing just one unearned run in 12 innings of work. She went the first six innings in game one and then pitched the first three innings in in games two and three.
• Freshman Jess Hom had a great series against Holy Cross, going 5-7.
• The Bison currently sit in second place in the Patriot League standings. They have scored 32 runs through the first six league games after scoring just 37 runs in 17 league games last season.
Scouting Cornell
• Cornell is 8-12 overall and 3-3 in the Ivy League after losing two of three games to Yale.
• The Big Red have had their past four games canceled. • Erin Rockstroh is batting .456 and has an on-base percentage of .523. Cornell has just five home runs and just one stolen base.
Series History with Cornell
• Cornell leads the all-time series 10-5. The teams first played in 1994.
• The teams haven't played since 2015 when Bucknell won two games, 9-0 and 7-4.
Scouting Lafayette
• Lafayette is 4-25 overall and 1-5 in the Patriot League after being swept in a three-game series against Lehigh.
