Bucknell at a Glance
• The Bison are currently 11-15 (1-3 CWPA) and receiving votes in the CWPA poll. During their first weekend of CWPA play, they went 1-3, with their win coming over Saint Francis and their three losses coming to top-15 programs.
• A year ago, Bucknell went 14-18 (2-6 CWPA) and placed sixth at the CWPA Championship.
• In the CWPA preseason poll, the Bison were selected to finish sixth. Michigan, Indiana and Hatwick were tabbed as the top three teams.
• Emily Konishi currently leads Bucknell with 75 points behind team-best totals of goals (35) and assists (40). Her assist total is good for 14th in school history; she needs six to enter the top 10.
• Colleen Barron (32g-18a) is the only other Bison who has reached the 50-point plateau. A trio of Bison—Ally Furano (27g-7a), Marta Considine (23g-11a) and Kali Hyham (30g-4a)—are tied for third with 34 points.
• Shyla Lintz has drawn a team-best 46 ejections while Konishi leads the Bison with 32 steals.
• In net, Manuela Herrera has started 25 games, making 175 saves. With 557 career saves, she stands fifth in school history; the four Bison ahead of her in the record book all made at least 700 saves.
• Konishi owns 242 career points on 112 goals and 130 assists. Her assist total is good for fifth in school history, four outside of fourth and 12 shy of second. Her point total stands 12th in the Bucknell annals.
• With 126 career goals, Barron needs eight to crack the Bison top 15.
No. 19 Harvard at a Glance
• Harvard is currently 15-13 (2-2 CWPA) on the season and slotted 19th in the CWPA poll. The Crimson hosts Brown on Wednesday, April 11.
• Like Bucknell, Harvard began CWPA action last weekend. Then ranked No. 22, the Crimson pulled off an impressive 12-10 victory over then No. 12 Hartwick in its final home game of the season.
• The Crimson leads the all-time series with the Bison, 19-12. The series dates back to 2002.
• Last year, then No. 20 Harvard toppled Bucknell, 9-5, bolstered by a 7-1 run in the middle two frames.
Brown at a Glance
• Brown is currently 13-14 (1-3 CWPA) on the season and receiving votes in the CWPA poll. The Bears travel to Harvard on Wednesday, April 11.
• Brown went 2-2 last weekend, with one of its victories coming against a non-conference opponent.
• The Bears lead the all-time series with the Bison, 17-10. The series dates back to 1999.
• Last year, Brown won the regular-season meeting, 8-7. Bucknell took revenge in the CWPA Tournament, scoring a 10-7 win to earn a spot in the fifth-place game. Marta Considine netted a game-high five goals while Colleen Barron added a hat trick.
George Washington at a Glance
• George Washington is currently 11-11 (1-3 CWPA) on the season.
• Like the Bison, the Colonials went 1-3 in their opening weekend of CWPA action on April 7-8.
• Bucknell holds a 41-21 lead over George Washington in the all-time series, which dates back to 1999.
• This will be the 63rd meeting between the teams. The Bison have faced the Colonials more than any other opponent.
• This year, Bucknell downed George Washington at the Bison Invitational (11-8) and in Loretto, Pa. (8-7 OT). During March 24's overtime thriller, Emily Konishi sent Bucknell into bonus time for the first time this season, evening the score at five apiece with 2:02 remaining in regulation. Ally Furano recorded both of her goals in overtime, sandwiched around a Konishi strike.
No. 11 Princeton at a Glance
• Princeton is currently 17-7 (4-0 CWPA) on the season and ranked 11th in the CWPA poll.
• The Tigers went 4-0 in CWPA action on April 7-8, with three of their four victories coming over top-15 teams.
• Princeton leads the all-time series with Bucknell, 39-6. The series dates back to 1999.
• In their most recent meeting, the then No. 8 Tigers dropped the Bison, 16-7, in their CWPA Tournament opener. Bucknell last defeated Princeton during the 2016 campaign.
