About the Bison
• Bucknell is 7-12 after coming off two losses in a doubleheader at No. 10 Georgia. The Bison dropped the first game 8-0, but gave the Bulldogs all they could handle in a 4-2 loss in the second game.
• Laurent Lichtenwalner had a solid outing in a loss to Georgia. She allowed four runs while pitching all six innings. The Bulldogs average 7.8 runs per game.
• Senior Meghan Kovac was recently named as one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award, which is given to a senior with notable accomplishments in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character, and competition.
• Paulina Gutkin and Taylor Wolfgang have both had 10-game on-base streaks during the season. Wolfgang and Licthenwalner posted the team's longest hitting streaks with six.
• Kovac and Anna Gimmestad have three multiple RBI games apiece. Gimmestad has driven in three runs in a game twice, while Kovac had a game where she drove in four runs.
Scouting the Opponents
• Austin Peay is 11-7 with wins in five straight games. Danielle Liermann is hitting .472 (25-53) with nine home runs, seven doubles, and 29 RBIs. The Governors have a team ERA of 2.59.
• Rutgers is 13-11 after three straight wins over UTEP, LIU Brooklyn, and Florida Atlantic. Rebecca Hall is batting .402 (33-82) with seven doubles, six triples, three home runs, and 26 RBIs.
• Mercer is 16-8 following back-to-back losses to Belmont. The Bears are hitting .285 as a team with 17 home runs.
