Conway Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

Lewisburg, Pa. - Sophomore Sean Conway earned his first career Academic All-Patriot League Team selection, announced by the league on Monday. Conway was one of 10 student-track and field athletes selected across the entire 10-team league.

A management major with a 3.76 cumulative grade-point average, Conway made the PL Academic Honor Roll in his first season at Bucknell. At Last week's PL Indoor Championships, the Langhorne, Pa., native earned a third-place finish in the 500-meter run, beating out teammate Robert Dessoye with a time of 1:05.47. He also ran the second leg of the distance medley relay which earned a bronze medal by clocking in at 10:07.96, and he anchored the fifth-place 4X800 relay.

Bucknell has now been represented on the Academic All-Patriot League Team for the eighth consecutive year.

Conway is among a Bison contingent that will be traveling to Boston to compete in the IC4A Championships on March 3-4.
