The Bison Are Back at Davis Gym to Host Holy Cross on Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell had four players with double-digit digs, including a match-high 20 by Brooke Stark, but fell to visiting Colgate 3-0 (25-16, 30-28, 25-18) in a Patriot League volleyball match Saturday at Davis Gym.

Joining Stark with double-digit digs for the Bison were Sophie Bullard (14), Delanie Lewis (14), and Alexa Bonanno (12). Jennie Burke added nine.

Bullard led the Bison with 12 kills while registering her fourth double-double of the season. Jennie Burke tallied 11 kills, while Bridgette Holland and Mimi Richards added nine and eight, respectively. Bonanno finished with 34 assists.

Alex Stein paced Colgate with 13 kills and 14 digs. The Raiders had five players finish with double-digit digs in a match that featured a high amount of long volleys.

Colgate improved to 12-11 overall and 7-4 in the Patriot League taking over third place in the standings. Bucknell dropped to 6-16 overall and 1-10 in the conference.

The Bison are back at Davis Gym on Saturday to host Holy Cross for a match at 5 p.m. The Crusaders are 5-19 overall and 4-7 in the Patriot League after beating Lehigh 3-2 on Friday.
