Promotions Set for Bucknell Football's Homecoming Game

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Plenty of promotions surround the Bucknell football team's Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 12 p.m.
Before the game, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the university will sponsor an alumni tailgate next to Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. Attendees will enjoy a buffet brunch, live music and giveaways for a $17 fee. Complimentary admission to the pre-game tailgate will be offered to graduates from the Class of 2018. As part of a tradition new in 2018, the team will walk through Christy's Gates at approximately 9:30 a.m.; the Bison will pass through the tailgating area on their way to the stadium, and fans are welcome to line up and cheer them on during their march.
Immediately following the game, the university will hold a free 5th Quarter Reception in the Homecoming tent. Alumni, fans and friends of the program are invited to join head coach Joe Susan, his staff and the Bison players to mingle and enjoy food and music.
The revamped Bison Fun Zone will be open to all children ages 12 and younger. This Saturday, it will include inflatables and face painting.
At halftime, Bill Graham '62, Tricia Plasko Rocchino '92, Noel Powell '04, Michael Lookingland '05, Charlie Waddell '07 and Jason Buursma '08 will be recognized for their induction into the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame. The Bisonettes Dance Team will also perform during that break.
Tickets are on sale at the Campus Box Office, starting at $10 for adults, $6 for children (13-18) and $6 for seniors (62+). Admission is free for Bucknell students as well as children between the ages of 0 and 12. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.bucknell.edu/boxoffice or by calling 570-577-1000.
