Joksimovic Named MAWPC Player of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. --Â Junior attacker Rade Joksimovic has been named the MAWPC Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and the fourth time overall this season after leading Bucknell to a 3-1 record against four ranked opponents at the Harvard Invitational this past weekend.
 Joksimovic netted 19 times and assisted on 10 other goals as the Bison defeated #20 Wagner, #10 Harvard, and #13 Brown. Â
Joksimovic's six goals and five assists against the Crimson helped the Bison snap a three-game losing streak to Harvard as well as give the Crimson their first loss since the 2016 season at the Harvard Invite.    Â
Joksimovic also helped the Bison in other areas, picking up eight steals and seven ejections drawn over the weekend.Â
After scoring twice in the 10-8 win against Wagner, Joksimovic scored five or more goals in the remaining three matches and tallied seven or more points in each contest.Â
Joksimovic's 11 points against Harvard were the most for Joksimovic since a 13-point showing against La Salle on Oct. 6.  Â
Joksimovic and the Bison will head to the west coast for four games in California as part of the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament hosted by Santa Clara and San Jose State University on Oct. 20-21.  Â
