Wright Named Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Daniel Wright has been named the 5th Quarter Fresh Bison Athlete of the Week after recording a big win in a Bucknell men's tennis match against Navy on Saturday.
Wright took on Thomas Pecor in a battle between returning Second Team All-Patriot League selections on court one. The Bison junior won in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (8-6), avenging a 6-2, 6-2 loss to Pecor last season.
In addition to his singles victory, Wright teamed with Ben Gerber for a 6-4 win in doubles on court two.
Bucknell is 9-15 overall and 3-2 in the Patriot League after going 1-1 with a loss to Navy and a win over Lafayette this past weekend. The Bison are back in action with a league match at Colgate on Saturday at noon.
