About the Bison
• Bucknell is set to play 10 games against four opponents during its annual spring break trip to Florida. The schedule includes two games against Niagara, four against Saint Peter's, two against South Carolina State and two games at Stetson.
• The Bison are 9-3 after splitting a pair of games at George Washington's Colonial Classic. They opened with a 15-11 win over Quinnipiac and followed that with a 6-2 loss to Monmouth.
• Meghan Kovac hit a grand slam, her third home run of the season, and Lauren Hadley hit a two-run shot in the win over Quinnipiac. The Bison had 14 hits in the game.
• Bucknell's defense struggled in the two games at George Washington, committing three errors against the Bobcats and two in the game against the Hawks.
• Four Bucknell players are hitting better than .400. Marisa Alemany leads the way at .429, while Hadley is batting .424, Paulina Gutkin is hitting .421, and Carolyn Wan is at .412.
• Kovac leads the team with 19 RBIs.
• Raeanne Geffert has 35 strikeouts in 39.2 innings in the circle. She has walked eight batters during that time.
Scouting the Opponents
• Niagara – The Purple Eagles are 6-3 after posting 9-3 and 4-2 wins in a doubleheader sweep of St. Bonaventure. Jerri Ann Orfano is batting .500 (11-22) with three doubles.
• Saint Peter's – The Peacocks open the season with the four games against Bucknell. They went 1-42 last season.
• South Carolina State – The Bulldogs are 0-20 after a doubleheader sweep to Gardner-Webb. Day-sha Stewart leads the team with 12 hits and is a perfect 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts.
• Stetson – The Hatters are 19-5 after a 7-3 win over Manhattan and a 4-3 victory over Columbia. Kelsey Waters is batting .473 (35-74) with three home runs, while Ashley Smith is hitting .415 (27-65) with four home runs.
Series History Against the Opponents
• Bucknell is 2-0 all-time against Niagara, winning both meetings in 2015.
• The Bison are 6-1 all-time against Saint Peter's. They have won six straight in the series, including a 3-2 victory in 2015.
• Bucknell has never played South Carolina State or Stetson.

• Bucknell will open the Patriot League schedule and compete at home for the first time this season when it hosts Lafayette for a three-game series on March 25-26.
