Women's Tennis Set to Compete at Seven-Team SJU Invitational

What: Saint Joseph's Invitational
Where: SJU Tennis Complex at the Maguire Campus (Merion Station, Pa.)

Event Info
Competing Teams: Bucknell, Drexel, George Washington, Lafayette, Loyola (Md.), Saint Joseph's, Villanova
Format: Four singles draws and two doubles draws
Schedule: Doubles begins on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Singles opens on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The semifinals and finals of all six flights will be played on Sunday.

About the Bison
* Bucknell opened the fall season at home with the Bucknell Fall Invite two weeks ago.
* Freshmen Paige Leavy and Jill Auteri won individual titles for the Bison.
* Leavy won Flight 3 with a 4-0 record, while Auteri won Flight 4 with a 3-0 record.
* Sophomore Lauren Fishbein and senior Michele Urbinati were the top doubles team. They went 2-1 to finish as the runner-up in Flight 1.
* The Bison went 3-1 in singles against Patriot League opponents (Colgate and Loyola) at the event.

Record/Milestone Watch
* Michele Urbinati ranks 13^th in program history in career doubles wins (45-30) and 19^th in combined victories (77-67).
