Bison Women's Lax Named IWLCA Academic Honor Squad

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell women's lacrosse team has been named an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). To qualify as an Honor Squad, a team must achieve a combined 3.0 grade-point average.
Bucknell easily met that standard, posting a stellar 3.41 team GPA in the spring 2016 semester. The Bison were led by senior Sam Rickels and junior Becca Golding with perfect 4.0 GPAs, and a total of 19 women's lax student-athletes made the 2016 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a minimum 3.20 GPA.
Earlier this year, sophomore attacker Eve Lukowski was named Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
