Women's Tennis Places 10 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's tennis team placed 10 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was released by the conference office on Tuesday. The group was headlined by its two senior captains as Maria Cioffi (Mathematics) and Stephanie Pino (Markets Innovation & Design) each posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Bucknell's two seniors led a group of nine team members to make the Dean's List with at least a 3.50 GPA. They were joined by Emilie Bush (Global Management), Jorie Fox (Environmental Studies), Danielle Gannon (Undeclared), Madeline Melch (Psychology), Mishi Papich (Undeclared), Melissa Parks (Economics) and Michele Urbinati (English-Literary Studies).
Cioffi and Pino were two of just six players in the league to earn the academic honor for the fourth consecutive season.
The Bison finished with an impressive 3.59 GPA as a team.
