Baseball Ranks Second With 16 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell baseball team ranked second in the league with 16 players named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday. A total of 76 Patriot League baseball players were honored across the six teams in the league.
Bucknell had a league-high four players with 4.0 grade-point averages. Tommy Gambon, Jeff Gottesman, Alex Salem and Mike Stephens were four of the six players across the league to have a 4.0 GPA or better.
Bison seniors Dan Keller and Spencer Stokes were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll for a fourth consecutive year.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Bucknell baseball has ranked in the top two in the league in Academic Honor Roll selections every year since at least 2000.
