Men's Basketball Leads PL with 11 Academic Honor Roll Student-Athletes

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- It was another outstanding semester in the classroom for the Bucknell men's basketball team, as the 14-member squad combined for a 3.29 grade-point average and placed a league-high 11 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. The regular-season champion Bison saw all 11 of its Honor Roll selections earn at least a 3.33 GPA last semester, and seven garnered at least a 3.50.
Junior Ben Oberfeld paced the team with a 3.83 mark while majoring in global management. Senior Ryan Frazier and sophomore Nana Foulland, who both made the five-man Patriot League All-Academic Team at the end of the season, also once again made the Honor Roll.
The Bison men's basketball team has now produced a team GPA o 3.0 or higher in 13 straight semesters.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
