Lombardo Earns All-East Honors on Second Day of IC4A Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Nicholas Lombardo earned All-East honors Saturday to lead the Bucknell men's track and field team on the second day of action at the IC4A Championships at Princeton's Weaver Stadium.
Lombardo finished third among 18 participants in the long jump. The Patriot League champion in the event, Lombardo recorded a leap of 23-10 ¼.
Senior Grant Reynolds will compete for an IC4A title on Sunday after advancing past two rounds of the 110-meter hurdles. Reynolds, the Patriot League champion in the event, made his way through the preliminary round with a time of 14.57. In the semifinals, he finished eighth, crossing the line in 14.51.
A team comprised of Cole Conte, Scott Gulizio, Jordan Jackson and John Westwood took first-place in the preliminary round of the 4x800 relay. The team crossed the line in 7:38.45 and will compete in Sunday's final.
