Football to Hold Final Practice of Spring on Friday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell football team will take to the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium field one final time this spring later this week. The Bison will hold their 15th and final spring practice session Friday, April 29.
The team will take the field at 6 p.m. Prior to the commencement of practice, a handful of special team spring awards will be presented and the squad's 2016 team captains will be announced. Practice will also be preceded by the playing of the National Anthem.
Practice is expected to feature a controlled scrimmage.
Bucknell, which opened its month-long spring practice schedule on March 29, will begin its 2016 season Sept. 3 at Marist. The Bison will play their first home game of 2016 on Sept. 17 against Cornell at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.
