LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's tennis team added two wins to its record, beating both IUP and Bloomsburg by 6-1 scores in non-conference action at the Bucknell Tennis Courts on Tuesday. The Bison wrapped up the regular season with a record of 15-8.
Bucknell's 15 wins are the most since the team went 15-7 during the 2009 season. With one win in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament, the Bison would have their most victories since 2005.
The Bison are the four seed in the Patriot League Tournament and will open play in the quarterfinals against fifth-seeded Lehigh on Friday at 11 a.m. in Annapolis, Maryland. They shut out the Mountain Hawks earlier this season.

Two doubles victories helped the Bison get off to a good start. Sophomore Emilie Bush and junior Melissa Parks were 6-1 winners at No. 2, while junior Jorie Fox and sophomore Allie Lane won 6-3 at No. 2.
The Bison had no trouble in singles play, winning all five contested matches in straight sets. At the top spot, Parks recorded a 6-2, 6-0 victory, while Bush won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2.
