Women's Tennis Falls 7-0 at Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Bucknell women's tennis team lost for just the second time in its past nine matches with a 7-0 shutout defeat at Navy in a Patriot League contest on Saturday. The Bison dropped to 13-7 overall and 4-2 in the conference.
Navy, which was picked to finish third in the Patriot League, improved to 18-9 overall and 4-2 in league play.
The Mids won all six singles matches in straight sets. The doubles were much more competitive, including a tough 7-6 (7-6) loss by Stephanie Pino and Emilie Bush at No. 3.
Bucknell will stay in Maryland for a non-conference match at Towson at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The Bison will conclude the regular season by hosting IUP and Bloomsburg on Tuesday.
